Territories: consolidated occupation and the arc of deforestation , the second volume of the series “Brazilian Amazon: integrated territorial perspectives and vision of the future”, was officially launched at the beginning of this month and has been highlighted in the national media.
Produced by the Centro de Estudos Synergia , volume 2 of the series reads the current socio-environmental situation in the Amazon . For this, the text demonstrates, through the historical understanding of the development of territorial dynamics , the effects of several vectors in the Amazonian reality , mainly those that led to the intense picture of deforestation in the region.
