The integrated management of 21 Basic Environmental Programs (PBAs) linked to the Environmental Control Program (PCA) of 3 projects – Mine, Pipeline and Transmission Line – of the Minas-Rio project, by Anglo American, took place under intense control by society and licensing bodies.
This happened due to the great environmental sensitivity of the region, which houses the Serra do Espinhaço Biosphere, the Serra do Cipó National Park and the Serra da Ferrugem Natural Monument, among other natural values.
In addition to the management of the PBAs, Synergia executed the following programs for the 3 projects:
For the Pipeline, the Environmental Education program was also carried out. And for Mine, the mine closure program.
The work, carried out successfully, resulted in the environmental licenses obtained by the three projects.
